Innovative Learning, LLC, formed by Ralph Spencer in 1994, delivers education and training consulting to commercial real estate companies. It approaches training with a performance gap and a performance improvement orientation. What are associates not doing that they need to be able to do (gaps in existing performance) or what are associates doing that they need to do better (performance improvement). The emphasis is on "doing"; it is on performance. Too much training is focused on content (knowing) and not enough is focused on skills (performance).
