The 6 things my father taught me about fishing - A fun workshop that serves as sales training for the rookie or a great refresher for the experienced sales person. The workshop consists of many individual, paired and group exercises to hone your sales skills.

1) If you're going fishing you have to know what kind of fish you're trying to catch - focus is on targeted prospecting and business development

2) Use the right bait and tackle for the fish you're trying to catch - focus on face to face prospecting

3) You can't catch a fish unless you put your line in the water - focus on the business activity funnel

4) When you're fishing and the lines are in the water you have to be alert - focus on qualifying

5) Know when to hook-em and know how much tension to keep on the line - focus on dealing with objections and closing

6) Catch and release - focus on qualified, high potential opportunities
